A Change To Shownotes
September 30, 2007, 4:34 pm

If you noticed last week, I started to put album art on this page for each podcast.
This was the first change, Monday will see the start of further changes, mainly to the shownotes.
Each track will have extensive links for each artist, whether it be the PMN, Myspace, Last.fm, or their label.
Also, purchase links will be present where available.
I think it is time to give something back to the artists I have played on my Podcasts.
Plus, I won’t be taking any kind of commision from the purchase links I feature on this site.

Another feature will be the occasional posting of videos for the artists on my Tumblr blog where they are available. I’ve started with Simian Mobile Disco already.

Bank Holiday Podcast On It’s Way.
August 11, 2007, 3:53 pm

I’ve decided to make a Special Podcast for the forthcoming August Bank Holiday Monday.
The show will be a mix of all 4 Podcasts, and will be a “best of” show, featuring some of my favourite tracks I’ve played over the last 50+ shows.
If you want to feature in this show, then please email me and let me know.
I will be releasing the show in the midweek before Monday 27th August,
The Random Bunny scheduled for that week, will be released on Tuesday 28th August.
This playlist I’m putting together is over 2 hours long, so it will be my longest Podcast yet.

As a member of Podshow, I’ve been playing around with their Channels feature, and listeners to Adam Curry‘s Daily Source Code will know all about this. He hasn’t stopped talking about it for ages.

Anyway, before Podshow released their upgraded channel editor (Codenamed “Cheddar”), I had a play around with the older version, created some new channels and gave them their own RSS feed.

Here are ALL my new and current feeds.

Startled Bunny Aggregated feed, featuring all 4 of my Podcasts.

A Schedule Change, And a request.

The current schedule is taking it’s toll on me at the moment.
Work has become more involved for me, and I have taken on another role in addition to my current duties.
With this in mind, I have decided to add a week to the Startled Bunny cycle.
The four podcasts will follow each other every week, for four weeks.
On the fifth week, there will not be a podcast.
In essence, each podcast will have a new episode ready to listen to every Five weeks.
Sometimes, there are circumstances beyond my control. Recently, Podshow, who host and look after my podcasts, had a period of downtime, where essential maintenance was carried out. When this occurs, I will do my best to inform you of these situations.

I had an idea recently, to have guest announcers on the podcasts. The synthesised voices I use on the show are ok up to a point, but are nothing like a real voice could be. If you would like to be a guest announcer for one of these podcasts, then please send me an e-mail, to thestartledbunny@gmail.com. If you’ve listened to the show at all, you’ll know what is involved.

No Podcast on Monday
April 13, 2007, 6:17 pm

I use Podshow to host all my podcasts, and on Monday they are planning to move their servers in-house, which may mean some serious down time for the Podshow site.
As a precaution, I won’t be releasing a Podcast on Monday. This was scheduled to be Infinity Part IV.
To make up for it though, I will do my best to make the podcast at least an hour long. I hope this will make up for the lack of a show this week.
Hope you had a good Easter break.
